Designed To Fit Products

Designed To Fit is currently offering two (2) products designed for the Physical Therapy community.The first is a basic patient documentation system, ideal for individual therapists or small practices. The second is a patient documentation system specifically designed for therapists who specialize in pelvic floor work. In addition to the functions in the basic documentation system, it addresses issues specific to pelvic floor therapies.

Basic Patient Tracking System (BPTS)

The first product, the Basic Patient Tracking System (BPTS) is a patient documentation designed for individual therapists or small offices.

BPTS provides a means to track patient tests, issues, therapies, visits and other data.

A brief list of features includes:

• The ability to track a complete medical history of the patient
• An Exercise Reporting function that allows the therapist to select exercises for the patient, then print a report of the exercises for the patient to take home
• The means to track still photos of the patients posture
• The means to attach a single video of the patient's gait
• An Evaluation report; a Progress Note report; and a Discharge report

The system is designed for ease of use. All information is entered under a single screen with three (3) main tabs which cover the basic patient information, the initial patient evaluation and the subsequent patient sessions. The latter two (2) tabs are broken down into logical sub-tabs.

Recognizing that there are phrases that are used repetitively, and to ease the entry of data, a Standard Phrase function is incorporated into the system.It allows you to add, then reuse phrases specific to data fields, i.e. for Activity Level you may have a dozen phrases that you use on a regular basis. The Standard Phrase function allows you to select one or more phrases; that are then written into the data field. You have the ability to modify the data field if necessary.

In keeping with the philosophy of Designed To Fit, the system can be customized to meet the specific needs of your Practice.

Pelvic Floor Patient Tracking System (PFPTS)

The second product, the Pelvic Floor Patient Tracking System (PFPTS) was built atop the base patient tracking system and provides a means to track patient tests, issues, therapies, visits and other data, specific to Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists. The key difference is that it allows entry and tracking of dozens of data fields specifically elated to pelvic floor work.

A brief list of features includes:

• The ability to track a complete medical history of the patient
• An Exercise Reporting function that allows the therapist to select exercises for the patient, then print a report of the exercises for the patient to take home
• The means to track still photos of the patients posture
• The means to attach a single video of the patient's gait
• An Evaluation report; a Progress Note report; and a Discharge report
• The Pain Map this function allows the therapist to identify specific pain points or locations, associating a pain type and pain level to the point. There is also a visual map for Hooklying and the Cotton Swab Test, and for male patients, Posterior Supine, that visually allow the entry of the same data. The Pain Map tab is available under both the Evaluation and Progress Note main tabs.
